The Co-Op

We opened in 2010 and have been a member-owned cooperative since 2015, with members and a volunteer board of directors steering the gym. Day to day that means coached classes — CrossFit, Barbell, open gym and nutrition coaching — run by seasoned coaches who help you move better and get stronger, whether it's your first week or your tenth year.

I started working out consistently in 2007, and it has been a staple in my life ever since. After organized sports, I continued to exercise, predominately by myself which was not only boring but it led to me developing bad habits that I never realized I had. With the help of the outstanding coaches at Cream City CrossFit I have been able to improve upon those habits and work out more efficiently,

I started lifting weights in high school in between football and lacrosse seasons but took a break from the gym while at university after suffering major knee injuries in my late teens. I got reacquainted with the weight room in my early 20’s after I was confident that my knee had healed and began lifting and playing bar league sports 4 and 5 nights a week. I followed a 5×5 powerlifting style of

In 2018, after many years of lifting to get stronger, and running to run faster, with no real purpose or goal, I was pushed towards CrossFit by a friend. At first I truly didn’t understand the methodology, and the “why” behind any of what I then would have called madness. After a 1 short month, I stopped and went back to my normal regiment. A year later I gave it another go, and before I knew it,

I’ve been a dedicated member of the Cream City CrossFit community since May 2022, joining right before the gym’s big move to our current location. A Bay View resident who grew up in Shorewood, you’ll find me bouncing between morning and evening classes throughout the week, but I’m a guaranteed fixture at Saturday sessions. My journey to CrossFit began during my high school days as a cross country

In 2014 I decided to do a Tough Mudder and I felt the best way to prepare for this event would be through CrossFit training. I checked out a few gyms and immediately knew Cream City CrossFit was for me. I decided to join the team because I wanted new members to feel comfortable and I wanted to teach them how to move properly, motivate them to want more, and continue to do their best. I continue to

I began CrossFit in college in 2014 when my now husband, Coach Guillermo, was encouraging me to give it a shot with him at our campus gyms. I officially joined a box in 2016 and its been my way of staying fit ever since. I have gone through cycles of intense training and higher levels of fitness and periods of using Crossfit as a way to move and be active when I can (such as now with 2 little ones
